Delicious Thai food. Generous portions. Super friendly service. Dog friendly - but on the porch so take weather into account. Lots of vegan options!
Food was delicious. Also the spice perfect. Took tofu stir fry and tofu red curry. The service was amazing, very helpful. Atmosphere, clean, peaceful and pleasant. Definitely recommended
Great service, great food, and a very cute dining area. 10/10 will definitely be back! Our server Piggy was fantastic. We spent about $60 for two people with drinks.
My husband and I stumbled upon this little gem after a long day of hiking in Acadia. We had missed our anniversary dinner reservation at another restaurant and ended up at Thai Sana instead, and what a happy accident it was! From the moment we walked through the door, we were greeted by the most gracious host. Even though the restaurant was quite busy, the host and our waiter made the service feel flawless. We never felt rushed; in fact, the host took the time to chat with me about the ongoing conflict between Cambodia and Thailand after learning about my background. His warmth extended to every guest who walked in that night; it was clear he genuinely cared about creating a welcoming atmosphere. We ordered the pineapple fried rice and spicy curry tofu with vegetables. Both dishes were absolutely delicious. The curry was light yet creamy, with an incredible depth of flavor. We even ordered extra rice so we wouldn’t miss a drop of that savory broth! The pineapple fried rice was perfectly balanced—the sweetness of the pineapple and the nuttiness from the cashews in each bite was just perfect. Their homemade chili oil took it to the next level—honestly the best I’ve ever had, and I’ve tried many! I highly recommend Thai Sana. We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in the area.
We enjoy this restaurant much more than any place you can find in Bar Harbor! Our server was the highlight of the visit though, so much so we went back the next day :). The food was so excellent, we left clean plates. I believe they can cater to the gluten free patrons as well, so that is nice addition.
I cannot eat MSG or soy. The proprietor went above and beyond to prepare my food separately. It was both beautiful and delicious. The service was excellent.
After several days of Lobster (I know, so spoiled) we were in the mood for something different. We drove out away from Bar Harbor to escape the crowds and found this place online; we were pleasantly surprised! Very authentic, fast service, great food - maybe the best Mango Curry I’ve ever had. This meal was 1/3 the cost of our previous meal of lobster rolls. Delicious and affordable!
The flavors were great. We had a good balance between sweet and spicy for our family. We’ve had Thai food in many places found comfort in their food and happiness center service..
